Mrs. Marilyn Collins, Executive Director
Areas of Interest: I’m passionate about early childhood development, innovative teaching practices, and creating supportive learning environments for children with diverse needs as well as mentoring new educators, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to build effective programs, and developing creative solutions that help children grow academically and emotionally.
My background in entrepreneurship reflects an interest in problem-solving, and community engagement driven by a commitment to helping children and families thrive through education, communication, and compassionate support.
Experience: I have extensive experience in early childhood special education, teaching children with developmental delays—including speech and language disorders, autism, visual impairments, deaf and hard of hearing, Down syndrome, and rare neuromuscular conditions. My work includes incorporating AAC to support functional communication, while also guiding families through the learning process.

Areas of Interest: Receptive and Expressive Language Skills, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Parent and Caregiver Coaching and Training, Early Intervention, Articulation, Phonological Awareness
Experience: Providing child-led, play-based therapy, conducting speech and language screenings and evaluations, collaborating with parents and educators to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care

Elizabeth Kuhfuss-Beville, M.S. CCC-SLP
Areas of interest: Stuttering, Selective Mutism, Literacy (decoding, comprehension, spelling), Preschool speech/language development, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Phonological Awareness, Adolescent Language Skills (grammar, editing, written expression), and parent partnership training for early language development and preschoolers who stutter.
Experience: Over 12 years of combined experience in the public school and private clinic settings. These areas of treatment have been provided for the following listed age groups:
preschool – articulation, stuttering, language, AAC, selective mutism, literacy fundamentals, and parent partnership training (Palin PCI);
elementary – articulation, language, CAS (using DTTC principles), phonological awareness, AAC, autism, and stuttering;
adolescent – articulation, language, literacy, AAC, social/pragmatic, and stuttering.
Certifications and Advanced Training: Keystone Course from The New Community School for explicit instruction in literacy interventions, Avoidance Reduction Therapy for Stuttering (ARTS®), Palin Parent-Child Interaction program training (including concepts from CBT and SFBT for using cognitive approaches with people who stutter), Childhood Apraxia of Speech conference

Experience: Twenty years of clinical experience working primarily with children with language and literacy disorders, collaboration with teachers, program development, in-service and conference presentations, research, and teaching in higher education
