Applying for Financial Assistance

We provide speech, language, and literacy services to children, with fees based on their family’s ability to pay.

Helping Children Communicate

Medical insurance does not always pay for the testing and treatment of communication disorders and for other families insurance still remains unaffordable. But children, who live in the greater Richmond area, can receive quality care here at the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center when their family is approved for financial assistance.

Applying for financial assistance to receive services at a reduced fees is easy. Please provide us with:

A copy of your most recent tax statement
(if you did not file taxes last year, we will need copies of all household W2 forms and two recent pay stubs)

An itemized listing of all household income and expenses for the month.
(Income must be disclosed for all adults living in the home. Child support, social security, disability, etc. must be included as well.)

A letter of need, explaining your individual circumstances.
Please include the number of people living in your household, the reason for your need (loss of job, insurance denial, etc.) and an amount you feel could pay.
